The,10th,General,Assembly,and,2022,World,Conference,on,Acupuncture-Moxibustion,(Singapore),of,WFAS,held,in,Singapore

The 10th General Assembly and the 2022 World Conference on Acupuncture-Moxibustion (Singapore)of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) was held in Singapore from 18 to 20, November. This was the first time that WFAS held a high-standard, high-level, and multi-dimensional academic conference overseas since the outbreak of COVID-19. The General Assembly elected the 10th executive committee of WFAS with 110 members from 40 countries and regions. The incumbent President of WFAS and Chairman of China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion Mr. Liu Baoyan was re-elected as President of WFAS.

Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and experts in TCM Acupuncture and in integrative domains of Chinese and Western medicine were invited to make academic reports at the General Assembly,which was held both online and offline at the same time. Representatives domestic and abroad attended the General Assembly in a hybrid manner and had discussions on the theme “Promoting TCM Acupuncture and Protecting Global Public Health”.
